15,000T Upward Continuous Casting Line Successfully Installed, Commissioned and Trial Production Completed
Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China – August 24, 2026 – Honor Metal is pleased to announce that the 15,000T upward continuous casting line for copper rod supplied to our Middle East customer has successfully completed installation, commissioning, and trial production.
After equipment delivery, the Honor Metal engineering team worked closely with the customer’s technical team to complete equipment installation, system commissioning, process optimization, and production adjustments. The entire production line is now operating smoothly, and trial production has been successfully completed, providing a solid foundation for the customer’s future full-scale production.
Advanced Upward Continuous Casting Technology for Copper Rod Production
The production line adopts advanced upward continuous casting technology for the continuous production of high-quality oxygen-free Copper Rod.
During the production process, cathode copper plates are automatically transferred and fed into the melting system through the automatic feeding system. The copper is then melted, deoxidized, and refined before being continuously cooled and formed into Copper Rods through the crystallizer.
The production line is designed with an annual capacity of 15,000 tons and is capable of producing φ16, φ20, φ25, and φ30 mm Copper Rods.
The furnace system adopts a configuration consisting of one Melting Furnace, one transition furnace, and one holding furnace, helping maintain stable molten copper conditions and ensuring continuous production.
Efficient Production System and Stable Operation
The upcast production line is equipped with a stable drive system and precision transmission components, enabling accurate control of casting speed and ensuring stable production operation.
The automatic take-up system allows efficient collection of 20 Copper Rod coils, improving production efficiency and operational flexibility.
Successful Installation and Trial Production
During the on-site installation and commissioning process, the Honor Metal engineering team worked closely with the customer to complete mechanical installation, electrical connection, system testing, equipment adjustment, and production commissioning.
After comprehensive testing and optimization, the production line successfully entered trial production and demonstrated stable operation with good production performance.
With the successful completion of installation, commissioning, and trial production, the Honor Metal engineering team has completed the on-site service and safely returned home.
