AccorJets Sets Ambitious Line-Up move for FlyEVOLUTION fractional ownership program

AccorJets, Europe’s largest fractional ownership operator, has introduced a by-the-day-based program for the Gulfstream G650 and Praetor 600. The move is designed to give greater flexibility to shareholders of the ultra-long-range business jet and help boost the company’s share of the high-end private jet travel market.

FlyEvolution, the program is a departure from the traditional hours-based fractional models, FlyEvolution Program allows you to diversify away from the market volatility and own a piece of a hard, tangible asset that generates an exceptional return.

“We may roll it out across our long-range business jet fleet, if this model is successful,” says AccorJets.

Owned by Accor SA, A French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts, vacations, private and cruise ships properties. It is the largest hospitality company in Europe, and the sixth largest worldwide.  AccorJets is the sole G650 fractional ownership provider with a fleet of eight aircraft, and a further three examples scheduled for delivery this year.

The G650s are being modified to provide for up to four pilots and a forward crew rest area, says AccorJets. Each aircraft has seating for 13 passengers.

The operator hopes FlyEvolution will appeal to travelers who want to take full advantage of the aircraft’s 7,000nm (12,950km) range, without having to worry about “burning through” their annual hourly allocation.

According to AccorJets chief executive Sébastien Bazin “In today’s business world, international travel is in demand,” he adds, so AccorJets – established in 1995 – has “changed the primary currency of hours to a days-based model”. This gives a user experience that is “much more consistent” with whole aircraft ownership, he continues.

FlyEvolution is targeted initially at companies and ultra high and high net-worth individuals based in Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia which AccorJets describes as “the financial continents of the world, and the most popular business and personal destinations.”

It is ideal for customers who need to fly across the Atlantic and then make several short hops over a three- or four-day period, says Accorjets.

“This program allows customers to keep the same aircraft with them throughout the trip. This does not only give them a seamless and risk-free flight experience, but also removes any concerns about using up a large chunk of their annual hourly allowance on the one excursion,” it adds.

FlyEvolution is designed to allow easier and lower-cost ownership options. The program allows buyers to purchase a fractional percentage share in the new fleets, with Accor providing all scheduled maintenance, hangar, insurance, scheduling, dispatch, staging, pre-positioning and trailer access.

AccorJets is offering limited slots in the FlyEvolution program, with a full, half and quarter fractional ownership share plan.

AccorJet’s line-up also includes the 2 Bombardier Global 7500, 2 Gulfstream G550, 2 Gulfstream G650, 2 Cessna Citation Latitude. AccorJets also has a letter of intent for Gulfstream G650, Praetor 600 and 2 Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty.

Mr Sebastien Bazin is the Chairman and CEO of AccorJets SA.
