INNOSTAR Launches The Cicero Partner Program To Bring Open Distance Education To The World
An international group of entrepreneurs, INNOSTAR, introduces Cicero, an innovation created to offer students the opportunity to visit cultural venues globally using telepresence robots and innovative technologies

The team at INNOSTAR is taking the successes achieved with projects like Cardmap (cardmap.io) in the hospitality and entertainment worlds in innovation for travel, culture, leisure, and entertainment to the educational sector with the launch of the Cicero Partner Program and the ODE project. The goal is to offer everybody, especially students, the opportunity to visit cultural venues globally, thanks to telepresence robots and innovative technologies.

The number of out-of-school children has continued to grow over the years, with the Covid-19 pandemic further exacerbating the issue. According to UNESCO, over 1.5 billion learners in 165 countries have been affected by the pandemic. However, several tech solutions have emerged in recent times to help connect students and educators while reducing the gap created by the pandemic. Unfortunately, many such solutions have not delivered the desired results, which is where the Cicero Partner Program and Open Door Education project is looking to make a difference.

Project ODE leverages CICERO, a telepresence robot specifically crafted to transform the way a computer screen can transmit the feeling of heritage and culture, to help students and other participants have a unique experience even without being physically present at the location.

The Cicero approach delivers a more immersive, personal, and intimate experience by using virtual reality to take students into a realm as close to being there as is humanely possible. The project is a win-win for every stakeholder as teachers also get to customize the journey of the robots to focus on the kind of experience that is most suitable for the students and the objectives of the educator.

The Cicero Partner Program is open to cultural venues like museums parks etc. and schools, as well as international consultants working on interested fields.
