Alietc.com provides B2B marketplace to make trade between businesses more transparent and competitive
Selangor, Malaysia – PhD student Ali Jasbi saw a problem with business to business (B2B) marketplaces and the lack of transparency they offer both buyers and suppliers. Jasbi felt the lack of transparency available to the two sides made trade less competitive. His solution was to create a dynamic new website to motivate suppliers to provide better offers to buyers and improve the competitiveness of business.
Alietc.com is Jasbi’s solution and since its launch, has been connecting buyers and suppliers in a totally transparent marketplace. According to Jasbi, when he designed Alietc.com, it had some similarities to famed Chinese ecommerce website Alibaba.com. However, the PhD student, who created Alietc.com as his doctorate project, made a number of design changes to provide buyers and sellers some unique differences to improve their interactions.
One of the key ways the B2B marketplace improves transparency is by allowing both buyers and suppliers to “bid” on products and services. These bids are then made public to other suppliers and buyers using the marketplace to enhance competitiveness.
Alietc.com also allows buyers to submit Product Purchase Request (PPR). A PPR is an innovative new concept that is similar to old school requests for quotation that puts suppliers in contact with buyers far more quickly. Suppliers can check all PPRs through the search feature and can filter by country, business type, and product type to locate opportunities to outbid other companies. It is just another way Alietc.com attempts to eliminate the smoke and mirrors presented by other B2B marketplaces.
Alietc.com currently provides access to buyers and suppliers in 36 countries. The company selected the top 36 economic countries in the world and aims to add more as the brand grows.
